Apache 2.0.48 causes CPU to max at 100% on Windows 2000

Found out what the issue is. The cpu climbing to 100% is caused by having 
Mcafee anti-virus running. Once Mcafee was disabled, Apache 2.0.48 runs fine. 
This is not an idea situation and I do not wish to close this bug report as 
previous 2.0.x and 1.3.x versions of Apache co-exist fine alongside of Mcafee...
