This is very unlikely.  We would have heard many many bug reports
about it already.

More likely is that you have a DNS configuration problem.  Access
will only be allowed if a reverse lookup on the client IP address
gives a hostname that matches the Allow statement AND a forward
lookup on that hostname returns the original IP address.

Please double-check your configuration and try with a different
address.
