As I understand it, mod_autoindex is unaware of the character encoding. There
should be an option that will make it aware of the charater encoding, and also
generate an appropriate Content-Type: text/html charset=... correctly.
Currently, there is no way to do an AddDefaultCharset only do the default
document of the directory. The only work-arround is to add a HEADER document
with a meta tag to specify the charset.
