That doesn't follow.  As I said, when I have no .htaccess at all, I get fancy
indexing.  From there, adding an .htaccess containing the single line
"IndexOptions +SuppressDescription" certainly should not disable fancy indexing.

I think it was a bit rash to close this bug.  It may be something subtle that is
a side effect of another setting.

I might be able to provide a minimal config, but that would take time (the
server is running three virtual domains so there is a lot to factor out), and
I'm not sure you are taking me seriously.
