Hello Frank,

Do you have McAfee VirusScan running on your machine?

If it is running, you might download the LSP-Fix utility from http://www.cexx.
org/lspfix.htm and use it to remove the cslsp.dll from the WinSock2 protocoll
stack.

WARNING: this might disable the EMail scanning features of McAfee VirusScan

Reasoning:

McAfee installs an extension to the WinSock2 protocoll stack. It seems that this
extension does not exactly behave like the standard WinSock2 protocoll stack.

What is this extension used for? I don't know, but I guess it has to do with
EMail scanning.

Regards,

Thomas
