Apache 2.0.46 fails to start

------- Additional Comments From trawick@apache.org  2003-06-03 20:10 -------
I didn't mean to suggest that it would change by upgrading. I just would like
to verify that using it will allow Apache to start.

Another thing to check: please send output of ldd done on your old httpd and on
your new httpd

$ ldd /path/to/old/httpd
(output here)
$ ldd /path/to/new/httpd
(output here)

Another question:

Did you unpack the tarball and do ./configure, or did you run ./buildconf first?
 This tarball was built with a newer version of libtool.

Is this the same gcc that 2.0.43 was built with, and you didn't have to add
anything to bin/envvars for the 2.0.43 build to work?
