CGIs do not receive sigterm

Summary: CGIs do not receive sigterm
           Product: Apache httpd-1.3
           Version: 1.3.27
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: FreeBSD
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: mod_cgi
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: apache@hrunting.org

I have a simple long-running CGI script. When the browser user presses the
stop button, the script under FreeBSD isn't receiving a TERM signal indicating
the connection has been closed. Why?
