I am surprised that even in Apache.org "Red Tape" appears to have priority over security (I am sure the authorities don't complain if you accept my money now and do the paper-work/proper accounting end of year - maybe you want to set-up a private project "FundAdmin" in this bugzilla and record such a todo in there - see RFE http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=193658). Anyway - the money is on the way to you. The requested patch - is above. For it to make sense, please see http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17119. I hope this would be more professional and feasible than your "411-3am" nightmare scenario. Especially your institution Irvine could certainly agree that you answering your office phone a few times a week to read a fingerprint is in line with its (and your research grant's) mission. Similarly, I would expect this to be acceptable for William's firm Covalent too. I would be more than happy if it really turns out that Sanders is getting inundated with such phone calls (then the world is better than I think it is). If so, I am happy to sponsor him an extra phone line and an answering machine for a year!
