WebDAV behaviour changed from 2.0.43 to 2.0.44 (!!??)

           Summary: WebDAV behaviour changed from 2.0.43 to 2.0.44 (!!??)
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.44
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://www.toxa.de
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: mod_dav
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: soletan@toxa.de

I've upgraded my httpd-2.0.43 with (same configure-arguments) to 2.0.44 quite
after receiving your announcing mail. Today - quite a few days later - I
realised WebDAV not working properly any more.

After testing a bit with the configuration - I probably changed some settings
in the past - I tried to downgrade to httpd-2.0.43 again and voila everything
was working fine ...

#####################################
DavLockDB /tmp/davlockfile
DavMinTimeout 600
#
<Directory /sharedir>
    Dav On
    AuthType Basic
    AuthName "dav section"
    AuthUserFile /etc/httpd/passwords/dav-pw

    Order Allow, Deny
    Allow from All
    Satisfy All

    Require user admin
</Directory>

#####################################

user admin exists in given htpasswd-file ... I don't know what changed.
Directory structure contains .DAV subdir and access right on all used dirs is
rwxr-s--- and owned by nobody:www ...
