apache crash on exit after 1 or more SSL requests

Summary: apache crash on exit after 1 or more SSL requests
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.44
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: mod_ssl
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: gtalvola@nameconnector.com

I built a release version of Apache 2.0.44 with OpenSSL 0.9.7 using Visual C++
6.0. Then I edited httpd.conf to enable mod_ssl, copied a server.key and
server.crt into the right places, and started Apache with "apache -D SSL". If I
make one or more SSL requests then stop Apache with Ctrl-C, after a few seconds
a message box pops up that says:

Apache.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f6ce4c" referenced memory at "0x00000010". The memory
could not be "written".

After about 10 more seconds, both Apache processes exit, but the message box
stays on the screen until I click OK or Cancel.

This didn't happen with Apache 2.0.43 with the same version of OpenSSL.
