Re 1): http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/ssl/ssl_faq.html in the "About
Configuration" Section in the question "Why do I get ``Connection Refused''
messages when trying to access my freshly installed Apache+mod_ssl server via
HTTPS?"
Re 2): OK, but please at least put something like the following additional line
into the apachectl script:
echo "For apache2 and if mod_ssl.so is present, the use of the option 'startssl'
is deprecated"
