Apache service crashes when stoppe and ZoneAlarm is active

I installed Apache 2.0.43 on my computer at home (Windows 2000 Workstation 
SP3), where I use ZoneLabs ZoneAlarm (free version, 3.1.395) to protect it from 
external intruders.

I discovered that when stopping the Apache service, the service hangs, cannot 
be "killed", and after a few minutes the machine crashes (blue screen). If I 
disable ZoneAlarm, Apache works fine.

Here a snap from the error log:

Then the process hangs and there is no way to recover the machine.
There is that "Terminating 1878053824 threads that failed to exit." that 
concerns me a little!

I already told ZoneLabs of this problem, but I don't know yet if this is an 
Apache bug or a ZoneAlarm bug.
