apr_password_get exposes getpass() semantics

           Summary: apr_password_get exposes getpass() semantics
           Product: APR
           Version: HEAD
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: APR
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: joe@manyfish.co.uk

apr_password_get behaves differently on different platforms depending on varying
getpass() semantics; notably on Solaris it will truncate the password to 8
characters.
