http post is broken

           Summary: http post is broken
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.40
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://www.euroeliteforce.net/forum/thread.php?id=3839
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: All
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: lars@dybdahl.dk

When html form posting large amounts of text from hidden <input> fields or from
large <textarea> fields, the php-script sometimes receives too much text or
garbled text. A good example is this post:

http://www.euroeliteforce.net/forum/thread.php?id=3736

As you can see, the text entered by the user was repeated several times. The
error is 100% reproducible, and only occurs with certain texts, and never on
very small text amounts. The php code I used to verify that it's not the php
script's fault, is:

$content=$_REQUEST["content"];
echo $content;

System: Apache/2.0.40 (Red Hat Linux 8.0 version) running PHP Version 4.2.3
configured as  './configure' '--with-apxs2' '--with-interbase' '--enable-ftp'
'--with-gd' '--without-mysql' '--with-gettext'
