mod_rewrite should expand [T=$1]

           Summary: mod_rewrite should expand [T=$1]
           Product: Apache httpd-1.3
           Version: 1.3.26
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: mod_rewrite
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: peter@makholm.net

We have an application where we store a cache and some static files in
directories named something like:

/cache/application/pdf/81/8155e602245bb54ea58163dcabdc4814

Where the correct MIME-type is (of cource) application/pdf and 81/8155e6.... is
an hash.

It would be nice if we could set the correct MIME-type through mod_rewrite with
something like:

RewriteRule /cache/([^/]+/[^/])/.* - [T=$1]

This is not possible because p->forced_mimetype is not expanded. I don't think
it should be to hard to fix.

(At the moment we have a tiny perlscript doing the MIME-fixup but it would be
nice to be able toserve these static files from apache-processes without mod_perl.)
