Compilation fails due to a _Isinf not found

------- Additional Comments From l_faillie@yahoo.com  2002-09-26 11:51 -------
I made some check on the machine :

1/ Yes, isinf() may be a macro pointing to _Isinf(). (may : because it's depend
on other define).

2/ _Isinf() exists in libm ... which is part of the linker command line.

I found what's append, with -v option, I saw the linker library search path :
 /opt/gcc/lib/gcc-lib/hppa2.0n-hp-hpux11.00/3.0/collect2 -L/lib/pa1.1 -L/usr/lib
/pa1.1 -z -u main -o httpd /usr/ccs/lib/crt0.o -L/opt/gcc/lib/gcc-lib/hppa2.0n-h
p-hpux11.00/3.0 -L/usr/ccs/bin -L/usr/ccs/lib -L/opt/langtools/lib -L/opt/gcc/li
b/gcc-lib/hppa2.0n-hp-hpux11.00/3.0/../../.. buildmark.o modules.o modules/stand
ard/libstandard.a main/libmain.a ./os/unix/libos.a ap/libap.a regex/libregex.a l
ib/expat-lite/libexpat.a -lm -lpthread -lm -lgcc -lc -lgcc

A libm.a exists in /lib/pa1.1 but unfortinatly, this library doesn't have
_Isinf() :-(

A workaround is to specificaly link with /usr/lib/libm.a with is the correct
library. But I duno what could be done on Apache configure side to resolve this
problem :-(

Bye

Laurent
