           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.40
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: mod_auth_digest
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: frank.palme@web.de
                CC: frank.palme@web.de

With a directive to use the function Get_hash() in an external dll (or File) is
very usefull. The external function can use several databases, which hold the
user-information. e.g. An Oracle - digest -authentication can then very simple
implemented.
