Server is FreeBSD 4.6 with Apache 2.0.40. A similiar problem was present in
previous versions, however they seemed to be related to the use of cronolog.
Currently, the logfilerotation tool which comes with Apache is used.

Server is a basic low activity server with several virtual hosts.
