reverse proxying https hangs browsers

Summary: reverse proxying https hangs browsers
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.36
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Blocker
          Priority: Other
         Component: mod_proxy
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: tgagne@ameritech.net

Using proxy directives:
	SSLProxyEngine On
	ProxyPass / http://10.0.0.185/
	ProxyPassReverse / http://10.0.0.185/
Client browsers eventually hang waiting for a response from server. Doesn't
happen immediately. Last messages in log file:
[datetime 31272] [info] Connection to child 7 established
(servername:443, client 10.0.0.52)
[datetime 31272] [info] Seeding PRNG with 136 bytes of
entropy
Seems to work fine in 1.3.24 (for now). I'm still testing but have not been
able to duplicate in 1.3.24.
