This is marked as a duplicate of 8124.  Though I believe this issue may be
solved by the same fix that will be made for 8124, I wanted to add a note of
distinction:  8124 was reported as a problem with Apache httpd 2.0.35 and the
issue being reported here, is not reporducible in 2.0.35.  It was newly
introduced in 2.0.36.  

I have verified that if I set SSLMutex to none the problem no longer occurs.
