I assume:

if=/dev/zero of=1k bs=1k count=64
64+0 records in
64+0 records out
65536 bytes transferred in 0.000955 secs (68616552 bytes/sec)

-rw-r--r--  1 pgollucci  wheel  65536 Sep 15 00:17 1k

Will get me the file I want to try with ?
