Subject libapreq2-2.05-dev installation error
Date Tue, 03 May 2005 11:21:19 GMT

I have tried to installed libapreq2-2.05-dev-rc2.tar.gz under Linux, Apache
2.053, Perl 5.8.6, in two ways:

perl Makefile.PL --with-apache2-apxs=/usr/local/intranet/bin/apxs
./configure --with-apache2-apxs=/usr/local/intranet/bin/apxs --enable-perl-g

make test

After this last step, it gave the following errors, no matter I have used or ./configure:

creating parsers
echo "#!perl" > parsers.t
echo "exec './parsers'" >> parsers.t
source='error.c' object='error.o' libtool=no \
depfile='.deps/error.Po' tmpdepfile='.deps/error.TPo' \
depmode=gcc3 /bin/sh ../../depcomp \
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../include  -I/usr/local/intranet/include
 -D_SVID_SOURCE -D_GNU_SOURCE  -g -O2 -c `test -f 'error.c' || echo

I think it is not a good idea to "make install" after these errors.
Can I do something to be able to install libapreq2?

Thank you.
