Rudy, I'm forwarding your request to the apreq-dev list. I've just 
released that package. Other developers may be able to give you a 
definitive answer.

The quick answer is that libapreq-1.xx is for mod_perl1 only. At least at 
the moment.

Hey Stas!

Reading and reading, itz unclear (to myself) and not clearly stated as
to whether this package is designed to dance with Apache 1.x
installations or whether it can work for Apache 2 installations...or if
it works for both. I've read on the libapreq2 library, and itz clear
that it is curtailed to Apache2.

For myself the modperl tie in of perl to apache -- the request process
handover I have not studied in detail. and truthfully if my confusion
being addressed in this message were inexistent I wouldn't have to get
into that to get my mod_perl enabled server up and running.

I'm sure others maybe have this confusion and I wrote u directly as,
u're the source :-)
