Actually I'm trying to decide what should go in the 2.01-dev
release, which I'd like to start ASAP (see the new RELEASE 
file in cvs).  I think any decisions regarding the CGI perl glue can
wait until 2.02-dev starts, so I'd say keep experimenting with it.
