Hi German,

You can put the default value into the hivemind.FactoryDefaults
configuration point and HiveMind will use that if no other values are found.

<contribution configuration-id="hivemind.FactoryDefaults">
        <default symbol="some.default.value" value="the-default-value"/>
</contribution>
