Subject FW: Connecting to hive
Date Wed, 16 Feb 2011 22:03:32 GMT

Does anyone know how to get a Windows client to Connect to Hive
successfully? I've tried the code below:

      Connection con =
DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:hive://", "",

      Statement stmt = con.createStatement();

      stmt.executeQuery("select * from x");

But get the following error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:

Is it possible to do this?

Any help would be really appreciated.
