Surbhi Aggarwal commented on HIVE-22912:
----------------------------------------

Noh, I meant the entire hive query execution process on kubernetes, that is, starting a hive
session on a hive server kubernetes pod, which ultimately starts a DAGAppMaster pod, which
in turn executes query by either launching kubernetes worker pods or by submitting work to
LLAP daemons depending on the configuration.

> So many big data applications are already integrated or trying to natively integrate
with Kubernetes engine. Should we not work together to support hive with this engine?
> If efforts are already being spent on this, please point me to it. Thanks !
