Thanks Thejas and Eugene for the comments. 
However when we did more analysis, we found that in our script file user.name is being passed
in the query string (like - 'http://.../templeton/v1/ddl?user.name=<name>' so we are
not using user.name as -d user.name and 
in that case too we are having the same problem. When we check our front end we are getting
this error -
