Subject [DISCUSS] moving website to Apache CMS
Date Thu, 18 Jul 2013 14:25:37 GMT

What are your thoughts on moving to Apache
CMS<> for
the website? I've used it with both Apache MRUnit and Apache Crunch and had
good experiences. This came to mind as I recently attempted to create a guide
on editing the website<>and
found it be more difficult than using
CMS <> (video).

I am certain there are other pros and cons, but here is what I came up with:

* Recommended by Apache Infra and used for
* Fairly widely adopted within Apache
* Builds happen on the server-side
* Optional web editor (source is still in svn)
* Each side has a staging area e.g.

* Requires change
* Uses Markdown <> which
might require learning

  • Unnamed multipart/alternative (inline, None, 0 bytes)
