Mithun Radhakrishnan commented on HIVE-4274:
--------------------------------------------

This bug manifests as a failure when one tries to ALTER TABLE ADD PARTITION or DROP TABLE.

I'll post a fix for this shortly.

> Project: Hive
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: HCatalog
> Affects Versions: 0.10.0

> hive 0.9

> HCatalog client doesn't seem to set the owner field. The owner field of the table remains
null instead of being populated with the user who created the table. Creating table with hive
cli seems to work fine.
