Subject [jira] [Commented] (HIVE-2868) Insert into table wipes out table content
Date Wed, 23 Jan 2013 21:45:13 GMT

Dean Wampler commented on HIVE-2868:

I just checked this behavior for an internal table, using Hive 0.8.1 and 0.10.0. Both worked
as designed. Is there really a bug? If not, should this item be closed?

I read in more than once place that the statement should behave in append mode. Is this true?
If not, is there an available or upcoming fix for this?
