Subject [jira] [Created] (HIVE-3083) In local mode bucking does not work
Date Mon, 04 Jun 2012 14:08:22 GMT
Edward Capriolo created HIVE-3083:
-------------------------------------

Summary: In local mode bucking does not work
                 Key: HIVE-3083
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-3083
             Project: Hive
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 0.9.0, 0.8.1, 0.7.1
            Reporter: Edward Capriolo
            Assignee: Edward Capriolo
            Priority: Critical

In local mode hive bucketing does not work. I am willing to bet that since none of the bucketing
unit tests assert that N files are actually created the tests are producing false positives
as well.
