I was able to run all the way through with the first version of the patch; I'll commit the
second.

Damage report:

* HIVE-1969 (already known)
* HIVE-1939 (already known)
* TestHBaseMinimrCliDriver (may be the same as HIVE-1969 since it's minimr)

There were some other errors and failures, but they look like setup problems due to earlier
failures.  (That noise is one of the downsides of continuing to run through after failures.)
