Subject RE: Cannot transmit a SWA response with a large attachment (HttpEntity can't chunk multipart)
Date Mon, 05 Jun 2017 19:33:55 GMT
Adding the ContentType parameter to the setEntity(...) call does reintroduce
the Content-Type line to the primary HTTP header. SoapUI now successfully
receives the entire SWA message. Thanks for all your help, Oleg!

Question: what was the design decision that led to the Content-Type header
ever being omitted from any HTTP message?

Again, thanks,
Dan C. W.

Something like that?

---
try (ByteArrayOutputStream out = new ByteArrayOutputStream()) {
    responseEntity.writeTo(out);
    response.setEntity(new ByteArrayEntity(out.toByteArray(),
ContentType.get(responseEntity)));
}
---
