This release delivers significant performance improvements in request execution, especially for short HTTP messages, and also re-aligns programming interfaces used by the library with HttpCore 4.3 and HttpClient 4.3 APIs. Configuration and preference APIs of HttpAsyncClient are now consistent with those used by HttpClient 4.3. Users of HttpAsyncClient are advised to upgrade. ------------------- Download - Release notes - HttpComponents site - ------------------- About Apache HttpAsyncClient Although the java.net package provides basic functionality for accessing resources via HTTP, it doesn't provide the full flexibility or functionality needed by many applications. HttpAsyncClient seeks to fill this void by providing an efficient, up-to-date, and feature-rich package with an event-driven programming interface based on a non-blocking I/O model. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: httpclient-users-unsubscribe@hc.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: httpclient-users-help@hc.apache.org
