Subject NTLM Auth Headers
Date Mon, 20 Jun 2005 14:03:45 GMT
Hi Team,

The below is the Connect String/Connect command with header as Basic
Authentication.

String msg = "CONNECT " + host + ":" + port + " HTTP/1.0\n"
              + "User-Agent: "
              + sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.userAgent;
//ADD BASIC AUTHENTICATION HEADER FOR THE PROXY
sun.misc.BASE64Encoder enc = new sun.misc.BASE64Encoder();
String encodedPassword = enc.encode((tunnelUserName + ":" +
tunnelPassword).getBytes());
msg = msg + "\nProxy-Authorization: Basic " + encodedPassword;
msg = msg + "\nContent-Length: 0";
msg = msg + "\nPragma: no-cache";
msg = msg + "\r\n\r\n";

How should it be for an NTLM Authentication?
How should we frame it when the Proxy is authenticating and
negotiating in NTLM?

Thanks in Advance.
Pavan
