Subject [GitHub] httpcore pull request: Support 64-bit chunk headers
Date Mon, 04 Apr 2016 19:56:53 GMT
GitHub user hirthwork opened a pull request:

    https://github.com/apache/httpcore/pull/28

    Support 64-bit chunk headers

    Some caching servers (like nginx) doesn't send Content-Length for cached responses from
upstream which returned chunked response. The only way to ensure response completeness is
to use chunked encoding.
    Unfortunately, nginx sends whole response in single chunk, so chunk header will contain
file size, which can be greater than Integer.MAX_VALUE (however, still can be processed by
ZeroCopyConsumer).

    Proposed patch contains changes for huge chunks processing. New unit-tests included.

You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:

    $ git pull https://github.com/hirthwork/httpcore 4.4.x

Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at:

To close this pull request, make a commit to your master/trunk branch
with (at least) the following in the commit message:

    This closes #28
