Michael Osipov commented on HTTPCLIENT-1601:
--------------------------------------------

You obviously do not understand why I have raised this issue. From the tutorial:

bq. HttpClient assumes non-entity enclosing methods such as GET and HEAD to be idempotent
and entity enclosing methods such as POST and PUT to be not.

Are you still trying to say that this is correct as per RFC?

> Open up [chapter 1.4.2|http://hc.apache.org/httpcomponents-client-ga/tutorial/html/fundamentals.html#d5e280],
it says that {{PUT}} is not idempotent. This clearly violates [RFC 7231, section 4.2.2|http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7231#section-4.2.2].
It should be checked whether this is just a documentation flaw or even maybe an implemenation
flaw.
