Piotr,
There might be legitimate cases to override the default content type, so HttpClient does not
prevent users from doing so. Also, some basic awareness of the MIME / HTTP standards is assumed.


Having said that HttpClient is a community project so you are very welcome to contribute documentation
/ code improvements.
