Dmitry,
The trouble is that your changes break backward compatibility with 4.x API by changing several
public interfaces. The earliest time I could apply this patch would be 5.0 ALPHA, which is
not even in planning.  I think an easier approach would be adding a parameter to the IOReactorConfig
class.
