Subject [jira] [Resolved] (HTTPCLIENT-1379) SystemDefaultHttpClient should allow clients to set a custom X509HostnameVerifier via system properties

Oleg Kalnichevski resolved HTTPCLIENT-1379.
-------------------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

I am not sure I understand the point of using system SSL configuration only to throw it all
away by disabling hostname verification.

Anyway, HttpClientBuilder now provides a setter to override the default hostname verifier.

> The default appears to be BROWSER_COMPATIBLE_HOSTNAME_VERIFIER, I would like the ability
to change the value to ALLOW_ALL_HOSTNAME_VERIFIER.
