Oleg Kalnichevski commented on HTTPCLIENT-1205:

Sebastian, but I am not sure I understand the problem. By default Content-Type header is null
and one can always override the content type set at the construction time with #setContentType
method.

> Project: HttpComponents HttpClient
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 4.2 Final
> Environment: FileEntity(File file, ContentType contentType) does not allow the
Content-Type to be unset once set, because the parameter is ignored if it is null.
> The now deprecated ctor FileEntity(final File file, final String contentType) stores
the type without validation, so does allow the field to be set to null.
> For compatibility, the new ctor should store null if the ContentType parameter is null.
