Subject [jira] Commented: (HTTPCLIENT-865) HttpClient OSGi Export-Package doesn't specify version
Date Sat, 01 Aug 2009 12:04:14 GMT

Oleg Kalnichevski commented on HTTPCLIENT-865:

We are using Felix maven-bundle-plugin to generate OSGi metadata. If anything, this appears
to be a problem of maven-bundle-plugin or possibly a misconfiguration of it on our part:

Feel free to submit a patch or propose a solution to the problem that ideally does not involve
manual editing of the OSGi manifest file.

> HttpClient OSGi Export-Package doesn't specify version
> ------------------------------------------------------
> Key: HTTPCLIENT-865
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HTTPCLIENT-865
> Project: HttpComponents HttpClient
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: HttpClient
> Reporter: Richard Wallace
> The "Export-Package" manifest entry doesn't specify the version of the package being
exported. This means that packages importing it can't specify a version to import.
