------- Additional Comments From http-async@dubioso.net  2006-01-15 14:17 -------
Created an attachment (id=17425)
 --> (http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=17425&action=view)
preview 1 (.tgz)

The attachment is a GNU-zipped tar, since I couldn't bring svn to
create a patch for directories it doesn't control. The code includes:

- API in package org.apache.http.async
- example program using the API
- minimal implementation

The implementation part is still a mess: no test cases, no logging,
gaping holes in thread synchronization, poor method names, and so on.
I apologize for the indentation. I just didn't have the nerve yet to
teach my Emacs project-specific indendation. I will, but I prefer to
get feedback on the code as early as possible.

I hope for a lively discussion on the mailing list. I'll be back at
work tomorrow, so the near future will bring more discussion than
code from my side.

cheers,
  Roland
