           Summary: GetMothod returns to port 80
           Product: HttpClient
           Version: 3.0 RC4
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HttpClient
        AssignedTo: httpclient-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: thom@nowhereatall.com

If I create an HttpClient as follows:

        Client = new HttpClient();

        //establish a connection within 5 seconds
        Client.getHttpConnectionManager().
            getParams().setConnectionTimeout(TIMEOUT);
        Client.getHostConfiguration().setHost(Host, 3245, "http");
        HttpClientParams parms=Client.getParams();
        parms.setBooleanParameter(HttpMethodParams.SINGLE_COOKIE_HEADER, true);
        parms.setCookiePolicy(CookiePolicy.RFC_2109);

Then, using GetMethod, I pass in a relative path to a file on that host, here's
what I see in the log...

2005/09/11 15:10:43:912 EDT [DEBUG] HttpConnection - Open connection to
orgmeta.xmlsweb.com:80

Why is is accessing this on port 80 when I specified 3245? I think this problem
should be addressed and will be happy to help fix it.
