Summary: Default HTTPS port overrides port specifier in URL
           Product: HttpClient
           Version: 3.0 RC1
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P2
         Component: HttpClient
        AssignedTo: httpclient-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: bmoran@centeris.com

If a URL such as HTTPS://www.example.com:894 is specified, the default HTTPS
port is always used instead of the "Override" port of 894. From RFC 2396,
seems like the port specifier suffix should override.

Note that the current (perceived buggy) behavior limits the use with URL-
based packages such as Axis that might use HttpClient for https on non-
standard ports.

TO REPRO: Use the "Trivial" example, while watching with a network monitor
tool - try to connect to "https://www.some-server.com:5675" -- you will see
connections only being attempted to port 443, which is the default HTTPS port.
