Most of those so called common browsers, for instance, accept virtually any
garbage for a cookie in order to be compatible with thousands of broken CGI
scripts out there. 

So, in general I _personally_ do not think the behavior of browsers should be
used as the most common denominator. In this particular case, however,
HttpClient clearly doesn't handle the URI in question correctly. I am +1 to
commit the patch.
