Odi et al,
Another thing that bothers me is the origin of this code since we are dealing
with the Microsoft proprietary authentication scheme. Apparently parts of this
code originates from the Cryptix project. The license seems very liberal but do
we have any official ASF statement as to whether code derived from Cryptix
licensed software can be used in Apache licensed software? I am afraid we'll
have to escalate this issue to the Jakarta PMC should be decide to go ahead with
the patch
