Chritian,
I am a bit stressed out right now, but I'll try to take a closer look at your
patch tonight. There are things I would possible like to see done differently.
Feedback to follow. 

But I REALLY like your TestBadContentLength testcase. We all would greatly
appreciate if you could look at the possibility of replacing the current
SimpleHttpConnection based testing framework with something of based on your
approach.
