It's still occurring for me.  I just tried it a few times and got one success 
and two failures.

If this is a problem specific to MSNBC.com then it's not a problem for me.  I 
am just using MSNBC (and lots of other sites) to test.  I doubt any of our 
customers will have a site has complicated as MSNBC.com, they redirect way too 
much.

The setMethodRetryHandler method isn't in the beta 1 or 06-05 nightly build jar 
files, but it is in the javadocs.
